Blue John Fluorite

Blue John Fluorite is probably the most famous of all British crystals and minerals and certainly has a distinctive name whichbis why so many people remember it. It's a variety of Fluorite, but what makes this one so rare is that it only comes from Castleton in Derbyshire, England- yes, right here in the UK! The other nicknames for Blue John include “Derbyshire Spar” and “Blue Fluorite.”
